Wall Graphics for Offices, Schools, Gyms and Retail

Wall graphics turn plain walls into part of your brand. A printed mural can bring colour to a corridor, a cut vinyl quote can set the tone in a meeting room, and a full brand wall can make a reception or shop floor instantly recognisable.

We design wall graphics to fit your space exactly, print and cut them in our own workshop and install them with our own team. Most walls are fitted in a single visit, and we can work around your opening hours or school terms.

Printed or cut vinyl

Printed wall graphics cover a whole wall, or a large part of it, with a photograph, illustration or pattern. They suit murals, brand walls and feature areas. Cut vinyl is plotted from solid-colour film and leaves the wall showing between the shapes, which suits lettering, logos, values statements and simple line graphics. Many schemes mix the two: a printed backdrop with cut lettering in a contrasting colour.

Ideas by space

  • Offices: brand walls in reception, values and timelines in corridors, themed meeting rooms.
  • Schools: reading corners, subject areas, house colours and welcoming entrance walls.
  • Gyms and studios: motivational lettering, zone markers and large action imagery.
  • Retail: seasonal campaigns, brand storytelling and feature walls behind displays.

Surfaces and preparation

Wall vinyl sticks best to smooth, sound, painted surfaces. Fresh paint needs time to cure before film is applied, so we will check when walls were decorated. Heavily textured plaster, brick, damp walls and some low-sheen or wipe-clean paints can affect adhesion, and we test the surface on the survey and choose a suitable film. Where the wall is unsuitable, graphics can be printed on panels and fixed to the wall instead.

Designing for the wall

Every wall has sockets, switches, doors and radiators, and good wall graphics are designed around them rather than cut awkwardly at the last minute. We measure everything, then lay out the design so key images and text avoid obstacles and sit at a comfortable viewing height. Free design with photo-realistic mock-ups shows the finished wall before it is printed.

Artwork needs to be high resolution for large prints; if your own images are too small, we can suggest alternatives or create graphic artwork instead.

Looking after wall graphics

Wall graphics are easy to keep looking fresh. Dust and marks can usually be wiped off with a soft damp cloth and a mild cleaner; avoid solvents and abrasive pads, which can dull the print or lift edges. Laminated prints resist scuffs better in busy corridors, gyms and schools, and we recommend a laminate where walls are touched often. When a design needs to change, for a rebrand, a new campaign or a new school year, the old graphic can be removed and a new one fitted, usually without redecorating. We can also refresh individual sections, for example a timeline that needs a new year added.

Wall Graphics: Questions and Answers

Can wall graphics be removed without damaging paint?

Most wall vinyl can be removed by peeling it back slowly, ideally with a little warmth. On sound, well-cured paint it usually comes away cleanly, but weak or poorly bonded paint can lift, so we check the wall first and choose a film to suit.

What wall surfaces do graphics stick to?

Smooth, sound, painted walls are best, along with glass, metal and laminate. Textured plaster, brick and damp walls are harder; we can use specialist film or mount the graphic on panels instead.
