Floor Graphics for Retail, Events and Warehouses

Floor graphics put your message exactly where people are looking as they walk: down. They can promote a product at the end of an aisle, guide visitors around an exhibition, mark a queue at the till or show safe walkways in a warehouse.

We print floor graphics with an anti-slip laminate in our own workshop and fit them with our own team. Every job starts with a free site survey to check the floor surface, how much traffic it carries and how it is cleaned, so the material we choose will stay in place and look right for as long as you need it.

Uses for floor graphics

  • Retail promotions, brand logos and arrows leading to products.
  • Event and exhibition wayfinding and stand branding.
  • Queue markers and standing points at tills and counters.
  • Warehouse walkways, zone markings and hazard areas.
  • Entrance logos and welcome messages in receptions.

Why anti-slip matters

A floor graphic changes the surface people walk on, so it must not make the floor slippery. We print on floor vinyl and finish it with an anti-slip laminate, which gives a textured surface and protects the print from scuffs. Edges are cut cleanly and pressed down firmly so they do not lift and become a trip hazard.

Choosing the right floor

Floor graphics stick best to smooth, sealed, clean hard floors such as vinyl, polished concrete, tiles and laminate. Rough concrete, textured tiles and outdoor paving need different, more aggressive materials, and carpet needs specialist products. Floors should be dry and free of polish or sealant residue. We check the surface on the survey and choose a material to suit.

Short-term and long-term graphics

Most floor graphics are used for weeks or months, for a promotion, event or season, and are designed to be removed cleanly afterwards. Busy areas and forklift routes wear graphics faster, so for warehouses we may suggest heavier-duty materials or a regular replacement plan. Graphics in shops with frequent floor cleaning last longer when the cleaning method is agreed in advance.

Design tips

People see floor graphics at an angle and often while moving, so large shapes, bold arrows and short words work better than detailed artwork. Colour helps graphics stand out against the floor, while safety markings should follow the colours your safety signs already use. Free design with photo-realistic mock-ups shows how graphics will look in your space.

Floor graphics for safety and queues

In warehouses, factories and stores, floor markings help separate pedestrians from vehicles, show where to stand and mark areas that must be kept clear, such as fire exits and equipment. Printed graphics can carry symbols and words that painted lines cannot, which makes the meaning clearer for visitors and new staff. Queue and standing markers at counters keep people spaced and moving in the right direction. For permanent heavy-traffic markings, paint or specialist tape may be more suitable, and we will tell you if that is the case. Floor graphics are a practical choice where layouts change regularly, because they can be lifted and replaced easily.
